Ministry/Health Update
October 29, 2011

Well it has been a long few weeks but we have a lot of reasons to Praise the Lord. I had blood done a couple of weeks ago and the results were not great. My tumor markers had gone up to 13.6 which was a two point jump. According to the test, my white blood cell count was up and my kidney function was also not right.

My Oncologist Dr. Gonzales said that it could be an error in the test itself, and he wanted to see me the next week on Friday and he would run the test again. Needless to say that gave us alot to think and pray about.

The following week he ran the test again and called me with the results on Monday of this week. The tumor markers went back down where they had been previously, and my white blood cell count was good, as was my kidney function. Praise The Lord!!!

The Dr. says that I am fine, and not to worry. Thank you so much for your prayers and support of our ministry. We have had many wonderful weeks of revival this fall and are excited about the remaining opportunities we have to preach this year. Thank you for all you do to help us continue Preaching Christ, Reaching People.

In His Love,

Steve Freeman

Scripture : Philippians 1:6

Would it surprise you to know this morning that God has a finished picture of you? It is a picture that He dearly loves and treasures. Not a random photograph of some awkward, embarrassing, or even sinful moment in your life. No, a finished, complete, picture of the person He has created you to be.

I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me and my family as we having been fighting cancer. I am feeling much stronger now, and am slowly getting back on the road preaching/singing in revival services or one day events. Please check out the Caring Bridge link above for the latest health updates. Be sure to sign the guestbook at the Caring Bridge site. Your words of encouragement mean a lot to me and my family.

We still have some open dates in the summer or fall if you are interested in me coming to speak/sing at your church, or other special event.

Tidbit

Growing up with cerebral palsy wasn’t easy and Steve will tell you that because he walked different than most people, he was made fun of, a lot. He would come home from school many days simply in tears because of how children would make fun of him. He would continually ask the question to his parents, “why did God make me this way?” His mom would always tell him that, “God loves you very much, and has allowed you to be made the way you are for a very special reason.”

At the age of nine, he began to understand a little more about God’s love, and he realized that he needed to be saved. He walked down the aisle of his church the best he could, and invited Jesus into his heart.

A Note from the Site Developer

I’ve known Steve personally for only a few years. We were introduced by a mutual friend when he was interested in having a web site created for his ministry.

Since then, it has been an honor and a blessing working with Steve to design, develop, and publish this web site! The site has been through several design and configuration changes and Steve has been very patient throughout the entire process.

What began as a simple personal and ministry information site, has now expanded to include an on-line store and a personal log. The color scheme and content layout was designed by Steve himself.

On many occasions at Colonial Heights Baptist Church, I’ve had the privilege of hearing Steve sing and preach. His personal testimony has impacted me the most and encouraged me to continuously pray for my children as his parents prayed for him. Listen to his testimony using the link above and you’ll see what I mean. Better yet, go to Steve's Store and purchase the CD!
